Why NoorFilter is the Best Family Protection App
We combine smart behavioral blocking with a robust Halal DNS filter. It's not just about blocking—it's about replacing bad habits with mindfulness.
App & Website Blocking
Block distracting apps and specific websites entirely. Take back control by disabling access to social media, games, or any custom URL when you need to focus.
Daily Usage Limits
Set daily time limits for specific apps. Once the limit (e.g., 30 minutes of Instagram) is reached, NoorFilter gently blocks access for the rest of the day.
Custom Focus Schedules
Create strict schedules (e.g., "Study Time" from 8 PM to 10 PM) where selected apps or distracting websites are completely blocked.
Ultimate Halal Internet Filter
Block adult content, gambling, malware, and phishing sites completely. Our system-wide local DNS VPN ensures a safe internet experience for the whole family.
Mindful Replacements
Instead of frustrating block screens, we gently redirect you to peaceful Hadiths, Quranic verses, and productivity quotes to boost your digital wellbeing.
Wellbeing Analytics

Complete Transparency & Privacy
To function as the best halal filter, NoorFilter requires the Accessibility Service API. This is strictly used to detect the UI elements of short-form video players so we can overlay a mindful message. We do not transmit, save, or log any personal information, screen content, or typing behavior.
We also use the VpnService API to provide our system-wide safe internet feature. This is a local DNS filter that blocks known malicious, adult, or inappropriate domains on your device. Your traffic is never routed to our servers.
